I made this mask 8 or 9 years ago, for Halloween. First I tore newspaper into tiny strips and soaked it in paste. Then I covered my face in Vaseline and layered it with the paper. Then I let it dry for a while. After I pulled it off I built it up, painted it, added feathers and mirrors, and presto! Supergay! It reminds me of my Phantom mirror mask from college. I loved the way that the spotlight glanced off of the tiny mirrors in that mask, shooting beams of light throughout the auditorium.
I made cranberry sauce for the first time ever. It was a beautiful, amazing thing. First, bring one cup of water and one cup of sugar to boil. Then, mix in 4 cups of cranberries. They will burst with tiny explosions of flavor! Boil more. Voila, sauce. Now, taste. Grimace. Add 2 cups more sugar. Taste again. Frown. Present to your family for Thanksgiving dinner. Ignore the horrified looks when they taste it. Throw it away.
